Purchase the 1/20oz Mexican Gold Libertad. This iconic design from the Mexican Mint is an excellent addition to any collector or investor's portfolio.

The Casa de Moneda de Mexico, also known as the Mexican Mint, is the oldest mint in North America. The mint is highly regarded for its beautifully designed bullion coins. Gold Libertads come in a variety of sizes:  1/20 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/2 oz and the most common size of 1 oz gold.

The reverse highlights the Mexican Coat of Arms, with an eagle clutching a snake in its beak and talon. The image is surrounded by the words "Estados Unidos Mexicanos" above, and an olive and oak wreath sits below.. The obverse displays a depiction of the "El Ángel", or Angel of Independence, which sits in the center of Mexico City and celebrates the start of Mexico's War of Independence. Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory, holds a laurel wreath in her outstretched hand. Her other hand grasps a broken chain, which symbolizes freedom. The background features two of Mexico’s most iconic volcanoes, Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.
