This service is designed for people who believe they may have a rare coin, unusual variety, mint error or coin they are having difficulty identifying.

Please read these guidelines before submitting your coin. They help our staff keep this service useful and available to the public.
Our staff will review the photographs and information you provide. We may give you general information, a preliminary opinion, a ballpark value when appropriate, or recommend that you bring the coin in for further evaluation.
Some coins can be identified from photographs without requiring a specific price estimate. In other cases, an accurate opinion may require us to examine the coin in person.
Photographs may not allow us to reliably determine authenticity, exact grade, condition, variety, mint error, alteration, cleaning, damage or other characteristics that can materially affect a coin's value.
Include clear, well-lit photographs of both the front and back of the coin. If you believe there is an error or unusual feature, include a close-up of that area when possible.
We will try to respond as soon as possible. Response times depend on submission volume and staff availability, so please be patient while our numismatic staff reviews your coin.
Any information or ballpark value provided through this service does not constitute an offer or guarantee that Gulfcoast Coin & Jewelry will purchase the coin.
If Gulfcoast is interested in purchasing your coin, any final purchase offer will be determined after the item has been physically examined and will be based on the market and other relevant factors at that time.
This is a free and friendly service for collectors and members of the public. Gulfcoast reserves the right to limit or decline excessive, repetitive, commercial, inappropriate or abusive submissions.
You do not need to use this form for ordinary bullion products. If you have standard gold or silver bullion that you would like to buy or sell, please contact one of our locations directly for current market pricing.
