Whether you are an experienced collector, dealer, investor or participating in your first auction, Gulfcoast offers several ways to bid. Browse the catalog, register ahead of time, review the terms and make sure your bidder account is approved before auction day.
Online bidder registrations through Invaluable are manually reviewed and approved by Gulfcoast staff. Please register well before the auction begins. A registration submitted immediately before or during the auction may not be reviewed in time, and an unapproved account may not be able to place bids.
Preparing ahead of time is the easiest way to avoid missing a lot you want. The auction catalog, bidder registration and payment process are handled through Invaluable for online participants.
Review current lots, descriptions, photographs and auction information before deciding what you would like to bid on.
Create or sign into your Invaluable account and register for the Gulfcoast auction you wish to participate in.
Gulfcoast manually reviews online bidder registrations. Register early enough for our staff to approve your account before bidding begins.
Bid online before the sale, participate during the live auction or arrange absentee bidding when applicable.
Winning bidders receive an invoice following the auction. Online payments are processed through Invaluable according to the applicable auction terms.

Attend the live auction at the Gulfcoast auction gallery and bid directly from the floor as lots are called.
Approved online bidders can follow eligible live auctions remotely and place bids through Invaluable as the auction progresses.
When advance bidding is available, registered bidders can place bids through Invaluable before the live portion begins.
If you cannot attend or participate online, Gulfcoast may accept absentee bidding instructions in advance. The required bidder paperwork must first be received and acknowledged by Gulfcoast staff.
Gulfcoast manually reviews bidder registrations submitted through Invaluable. This allows our auction staff to review participating accounts before approving them to bid.
Do not wait until the auction is beginning to register. During a live auction, our staff may be assisting bidders, customers and the auctioneer rather than monitoring new online registrations.
If participating in an auction is important to you, register ahead of time and verify that your account shows as approved before the sale begins.
Registering early gives our staff time to review your bidder account and helps ensure you are ready when your lot comes up for sale.
Go to InvaluableAuction purchases are different from ordinary retail purchases. Review the current auction terms before bidding.
A buyer’s premium, applicable online platform fees and other charges may be added to the hammer price. Review the current Invaluable auction terms for the fees applicable to that sale.
Sales tax for online purchases is calculated, collected and remitted through Invaluable. Tax-exempt bidders should provide the appropriate documentation through Invaluable.
Auction property is generally sold as-is. Review descriptions and photographs carefully and inspect lots during available preview periods whenever possible.
A winning bid creates an obligation to complete the purchase. Ask questions and review the applicable terms before placing a bid.
Questions should be directed to Gulfcoast before the auction. Our team may not be available to answer calls or emails while an auction is in progress.
Bid increments and starting bids may vary. The auctioneer also retains discretion over bidding during the live sale in accordance with the auction terms.
Online winning bidder payments are handled through Invaluable.
Winning bidders are sent an invoice following the auction. Check your email and spam folder and contact the auction house if you believe you won an item but have not received your invoice.
Online auction payments are processed using Invaluable's payment system. Follow the payment instructions contained on your invoice.
For invoices totaling $1,000 or more, Gulfcoast requires payment using a bank account through ACH via Invaluable Payments.
Payment is due according to the timeframe stated in the current auction terms and your invoice. Do not assume that non-receipt of an email eliminates your payment responsibility.
Shipping depends on the type, size and fragility of the property purchased. Review your invoice carefully after the auction.
Gulfcoast generally ships non-fragile items domestically when appropriate. Items are shipped only after payment has cleared, and shipping charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Gulfcoast does not provide in-house shipping for many large, fragile or breakable items. These purchases require a third-party professional packer and shipper.
Local pickup is available at the auction location. Please provide Gulfcoast at least 24 hours' notice before arriving to collect your items.
For large, fragile or otherwise externally shipped property, buyers may use a shipper of their choice. Gulfcoast's recommended provider is Pack & Send. Contact Arlene at (239) 433-0747 or pack.send@yahoo.com. If you are considering bidding on a large or difficult-to-ship lot, obtaining a shipping quote before bidding is recommended.
Individual auctions may contain additional terms, restrictions or requirements. The current auction listing and bidder agreement should always be reviewed before placing a bid.
If you cannot attend the auction or participate online, you may submit absentee bidding instructions. Complete and return the Auction Bidder Contract first. Gulfcoast staff must receive and acknowledge your bidder paperwork before your absentee bids are considered valid and guaranteed to be accepted.
